There was a lot great discussion and I could not have imagined a better evening.

2000BCE-0 is the time period we decided on for the next discussion.

I am currently researching the Golden Age of Egypt, 1500-1300BCE. I will add earlier background info as well.Bryon is researching Northern Europe.

Hi folks, Nialls here. I am doing some research into fermentation during those years, mainly food, but if no one else is discussing liquid fermentation, I might include some info on beer and wine. Hopefully I will be able to find some old recipes/examples and make a few things to bring and taste as well.
Had an excellent time and look forward to the next meeting!

I've decided to take this opportunity to focus on one of my favorite mediums, encaustic beeswax, and to learn as much as I can about the ancient uses of it and how/whether or not the knowledge of the process passed from the Greeks to the Egyptians. I'm looking forward to hearing about what everyone else has discovered. I'm also looking forward to eating some goat!
